We are family (the story of Bobo and Zach)

A couple of years ago Eddy and I went to Budapest (do i need to link Budapest? i didn't think so...). Tired from all the walking around we took a nap. While I was trying to get back the pillow Eddy had stolen, he blurted out "don't take my stuffed animals!"...What prompted that, we'll never know, but it got me thinking (always a dangerous thing, ask Eddy...). Anyway, I was in California for work, Pacific Palisades to be exact and that's when I found our second son (the first being Buster). I brought him home and Eddy named him Bobo. Bobo is always cranky (his favourite phrase being "what the f**k!) and never thinks anything to be an issue (he has been heard saying over and over "so, what's the problem?" to friends in need) but we love him even if he is a bit of a party boy, lazy and totally not politically correct (i could have said pc, but I hate when people say "pc" instead of politically correct). Well, Bobo had it good for a while, traveling, being cuddled by the both of us...until we got him a brother! It was just natural to name him Zach... You can tell Zach from Bobo because... you just can! Bobo is cranky, Zach is your happy-go-lucky stuffed dog...Bobo calls Zach "kissyface" which is kinda true... Zach is loving and a goofy... you can call Zach a goof and he will say 'I am a GOOF' and then ' what's a GOOF'... Zach is soooooo goofy that he can not perform his tasks... which are:

  1. keeping m out of alcohol

  2. saying NO to alcohol for m

  3. just say no (thank you Barbara)

Anyway, Zach is the favourite kid in the family.

Daily Allucinations

Weather has been awful this week. Foggy. Rain. Cold. Needless to say, I am barely awake... I gave up caffeine because it makes me jittery. I drink Lavazza decaf on our espresso machine. I cheat, I add a little regular Lavazza for a little jolt. Gee... if only I think of three years ago...ha ha...jitters were my last concern... but I am digressing... anyway, I exit our building, plug in my i-Pod (do we HAVE to keep spelling it like that?) and walk towards the subway...Digression (sorry!)... I am always concerned about my hair: you see, my head is flat in the back and the hair moves funny, resulting sometimes in a Alfalfa spike... end of digression... so I am walking to the subway and see this lady coming towards me, and I realize she has hair sticking out of the back of her hair...like Alfalfa cubed. I did a double take and almost stopped this fellow flat-haired-alfalfaed lady... but then I realized she had her hair in a ponytail... I cursed my Klonopin and thanked me for not embarrassing myself one more time.

cheers
